  • Deployed a web server using EC2 and assigned appropriate IAM roles to enable access to S3 and DynamoDB.
  • Attached a Security Group to the EC2 instance to allow a rule for inbound HTTP traffic.

  • Enabled Slow Query Logs (>2 sec) in RDS to investigate underperforming MySQL queries on the IMDb database.
  • Visualized the slow query logs in the CloudWatch Dashboard.
  • Used RDS Performance Insights to monitor the RDS instance load to troubleshoot database performance by combining database load with wait event data.
  • Utilized MySQL best practices to analyze and optimize redundant SQL statements and performance bottlenecks.
  • Configured a Replica Auto Scaling on RDS cluster to better adapt to a sudden increase or decrease in workload.
  • Tested the auto-scaling by running a script that generated a high-volume query that triggered the CPU load limit.

  • Successfully deployed a serverless web application on AWS that lets users book a table any restaurant of their choice.
  • Incorporated cloud services like AWS IoT, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SNS and Cognito.

  • Paper selected in the ICUAS’19 IEEE Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • Identified the root causes behind Syracuse City’s weak economy and the sectors affected by the same.
  • Recommended Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) for Syracuse City in the autonomous mobility and connectivity sectors.
  • Identified risks associated with the impact of Data and IP Governance on the suggested PPPs.

  • Performed Data Munging, Data Modeling and Visualization on Airline data set of 130,000 rows.
  • Achieved an overall accuracy of 80% on the test dataset using SVM, Linear Regression Models and Association rules.
  • Proposed actionable insights to increase the customer satisfaction by carefully analyzing the visualizations.

  • Identified 8 areas of improvement in the current EZ Pass system and recommended mitigating measures.
